CHUN YANG TEA: Welcome

About Us

The term 'Chun Yang' is originated from a village in Ren'Ai in Taiwan, specialising in cultivating tea leaves for the consumption of the masses all around the world.

By using fresh tea leaves grown from their tea plantation, Chun Yang Tea is established to bring forth a fusion of modern tea drinks infused with traditional tea recipes.

Unlike the others, Chun Yang Tea is famous for using only fresh ingredients - such as real tea leaves and fresh milk for each respective drinks. Each taste of the drink harbours an intense refreshing reaction that only fresh ingredients can provide.

REVIEW

CHUN YANG TEA: Text

Passion Fruit Green Tea

Price: $5.50
Size: Medium
Sugar: 50%
Ice: Quarter
Drink ($5.50): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Concept: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Outlet: Orchard Central

Positive:

+ It's genuine, no artificial flavours unlike iTEA

+ Great concept, there's seats so you can chill there

+ Generous amount of seeds given

Negative:

- Not value for money

- So many toppings in the menu but not Aloe Vera

- 30 minutes for the pearls to be ready, a great shop doesn't require 30 mins and/or running out of pearl at this timing(16:25)

Final Verdict:

Consider it.

It's a nice drink but it comes at a cost which is not value for money. Not having Aloe Vera and pearl no ready is really bad.

- Ray

Overall Rating: 8/10

Milk Tea

Price: $6.10
Size: Large
Sugar: 50%
Ice: Quarter
Drink ($5.30): ⭐️⭐️
Pearl ($0.80): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Concept: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Outlet: Orchard Central

Positive:

+ Generous amount of pearls

+ Pearl is nice and chewy

+ Good plastic bag quality

Negative:

- Not value for money

- Feels very thin or diluted

- You may prefer 75% sugar instead, this is close to tasteless

Final Verdict:

Avoid it.

It's smooth but it's diluted, you don't feel connected to the drink at all and there's barely any milk tea taste and feel. For this quality at this price, it's really bad. About iTea's quality but not the price, KOI and Tea Tree Cafe is still a more preferred option.

Grapefruit Green Tea

Price: $7.30
Size: Large
Sugar: 50%
Ice: Quarter
Drink ($6.50): ⭐️
Pearl ($0.80): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Concept: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Outlet: Orchard Central

Positive:

+ Generous amount of pearls

+ Pearl is nice and chewy

+ There's Grapefruit pulp to bite on

Negative:

- Not value for money

- Pure bitter

- You need the maximum sugar

Final Verdict:

Avoid it.

It's expensive and bitter. 2 points goes to pearls and 1 point for the pulp, the rest it's a big no no. You want Grapefruit Green Tea? Bober Tea does it best. Go for that one.
