About Us
HOLLIN is created by a team of young Taiwanese tea specialists, who believe in creating an all-rounded bubble tea experience of good drinks, good pearls and good service. 赫! Bubble tea is not just a drink. It is an experience. The name HOLLIN was created with a phonetic similarity to the Hokkien phrase “好喝”, which means “an awesome drink”. The brand’s mandarin name 赫里 has a secondary significance with a similar sounding word “贺礼”, which means “gift”. This reflects our mission of treating every HOLLIN customer as an esteemed guest, and thus deserving the best gift we could offer. HOLLIN believes in giving the gift of honest-to-goodness drinks and pearls to our customers, and we do that by choosing the best, and bringing out the best of our ingredients. Our carefully-curated tea leaves provide a fragrant taste and are brewed into a smooth texture. We constantly strive to achieve optimum taste at minimum sugar level so our tea can taste good even without sugar. Complementing our daily, handmade flavoured pearls, we present a drink that is freshly made with care.

This Milk Tea cost $4.30 for Large size.
It has a great taste just like KOI do, but not as smooth as KOI. The pearl size is alright, just like KOI and iTea, the pearl is a little hard to bite. Hmmm.. I don’t think it’s my teeth, and that brings you to 3 annoying things about this drink.
- The Milk Tea has a little rough texture, which not too pleasant but it’s alright not crap at all.
- The amount of pearl is a little too little whereas KOI is a little too much.
- The plastic lid that covers the drink, I just dislike the texture while not full plastic or paper.
However, there are good things about the drink, here’s 3.
- The pearl is flavoured, in this drink is honey flavoured. It’s just so good.
- The stall setup looks better than KOI
- The plastic straw and bag is good quality, so satisfied that the bag is transparent, at least doesn’t make the annoying plastic sound.
So, what’s my overall verdict about this drink, should you Avoid it, consider it, shortlist it, or go ahead and buy it. Well I reckon you should go ahead and buy it. It taste just the same as KOI (90% same) .
