Playmade by 丸作 (Onezo) is the Taiwanese bubble tea brand’s outpost in Singapore since 2017. Every cup of Playmade by 丸作 bubble tea (BBT) is made by hand, only with the freshest ingredients.
Our pearls are handmade in-store without the use of additions or any preservatives so everyone can experience how fresh bobas taste. With our focus on using natural, fresh ingredients, that's why our bobas are bouncier, tastier and healthier.
The key behind Playmade's distinctive beverage lies in its recipes. From hand-pulped fruits to a homemade fragrant brown sugar caramel, quality raw ingredients are central to our concoctions.

Quite disappointed didn’t get the Pink Cactus Pearl but somehow burnt caramel pearl is not bad but doesn’t have the taste of it, that brings me on to 3 annoying things about this drink:
- Pearl taste like normal pearl
- Pearl cost $1 and the quantity is not there. Comparing with KOI
- Drink is quite blend
Thankfully it’s all not negative though, here’s 3:
- Pearl is sweet and chewy
- less ice and 70% is the best option
- Taiwan Milk Tea is the original ig?? But SG Milk Tea suits most S’poreans.
So then, what’s my final verdict? Should you:
- Avoid it?
- Consider it?
- Shortlist it?
- Buy it?
I reckon you should Avoid it. Because $4.40 for Medium Milk Tea w/ $1 Topping isn’t as nice as $4.30 KOI w/ 80¢ Pearls. KOI is a better choice.

+ Pearl is like any other golden pearl
+ A well balanced drink between Jia Jia Herbal Tea and Milk Tea
+ Extreme quick service
Negative:
- I'm not sure if they added creamer into the Herbal Tea or they mix both Herbal Tea and Milk Tea together
- It's very sweet, I recommend you to go for 0 sugar, as Herbal Tea already contains sugar
- Kiosk photo of this drink have pearl in it, but there isn't any, so it's very misleading
- A very expensive drink
Final Verdict:
Consider it.
Both my mum and sis said it's nice. But, I don't quite find it nice.
It's unique and there's nowhere else you can find it. It's expensive and not the best really. Please go for other drinks instead.

It's a refreshing drink and definitely worth a try and don't forget to add Aloe Vera in it. It's expensive but worth it.

Avoid it.
It's not terrible, its just disgusting. Not value for money. They really do play the taste around and this is one of the drinks that i would've say they failed. What could go wrong with Milk Tea right? Jia Jia Milk Tea was mehh and Pandan Milk Tea is ewkk. I did not even drink half of it, regretted buying Large.

It's reasonable alright with great flavors from both the drink and pearls. It's such a shame the pearls isn't a lot. Not the best earl grey milk tea but not the worst either. Tea Tree Cafe still top the chart for Earl Grey Milk Tea.
