7 Café - Iced Matcha Latte

Price: $3

Drink: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Outlet: Woodlands 888 Plaza

You have seen the trend on TikTok people trying this out. And so did I. I gave a 3 stars as you know isn’t quite bad, and definitely not Starbucks standard and that brings me on to 3 annoying thing absolut this drink:
- $3 for this size which is smaller than the smallest size of Starbucks which is tall
- Taste more like Green Tea which have no milk
- Too much ice, which results in lesser matcha for you to drink

Thankfully, it’s not all negative though, here’s 3 to help make up for it:
- Located at most 7-11 stalls, so if you don’t have a Starbucks near your house, this will do it’s job.
- You may not be able to afford Starbucks, but this it’s the cheaper version of it.
- Starbucks is not open 24/7 but 7-11 is and this drink is open to you every minute. So if you need to study/work through the night, great enough to boost you thru.

So then what’s my final verdict?
Should you:
- Avoid it?
- Consider it?
- Shortlist it?
- Buy it?

I reckon you should Consider it, it’s the not any better than Starbucks but it’s worth a try.

Nuodle — Milk Tea

Store service/concept: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Drink: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Outlet: Woods Square

Disclaimer: THIS IS NOT A MILK TEA STALL, BUT A F&B OUTLET THAT SELLS MILK TEA AS THEIR BEVERAGE!

This review will be a little different from the rest, maybe just 1 good and 1 bad as much as I can try to find.

The milk tea uses a plastic packaging which is different to the rest that uses cup, which is unique. That brings me on to 3 positive things about this drink:
- Similar to Thai Milk Tea if it were to be sweeter
- Sugar Level is just right, FYI you cannot choose
- Unique packaging like the way they place their straw, just like ChiCha SanChen

However, it’s not all positive though, here’s 3 negatives:
- They should rename their “Milk Tea” to “Teh Peng”. I’ll explain in the summary/conclusion.
- Straw is a little too short and you can’t drink from the most bottom.
- Standard size only which only allows you to drink this small portion.

Imma talk about the renaming part. Do you know the difference between Teh Peng and Milk Tea, other than the name. The way of making and type of milk is different. Teh Peng uses condensed milk but Milk Tea uses creamer. The taste between both is also different making both have a very distinct taste. You get what I’m tryna say now? Yes, it taste like Teh Peng than Milk Tea, which is a bad thing because they utterly failed it.

So then, what’s my final verdict on the milk tea? Should you:
- Avoid it?
- Consider it?
- Shortlist it?
- Buy it?

I reckon you should avoid it. It’s definitely still worth 1 try but with that price you can drink iTea’s Milk Tea, and that is a proper milk tea.

7 tea - Bubble Milk Tea

Drink: ⭐️
Pearl: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service/Concept: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Size: Large

Sugar: 50%

Price: $2.50

Location: Bukit Batok Street 11, Block 158, Singapore 650158

I shall go straight to the point, this is a typical neighbourhood bubble tea stall. So I won’t expect much. I’ll start with the 3 negatives:
- Milk powder is not fully dissolved
- Ordered 50% but taste like 25%
- Milk tea not smooth

Thankfully, it’s not all negative though, here’s 3 positive:
- Pearl cost 30¢
- Pearl is given at a reasonable quantity
- Very cheap for a large cup

So then, what’s my final verdict of this drink? Should you:
- Avoid it?
- Consider it?
- Shortlist it?
- Buy it?

I reckon you should avoid it. The milk powder (creamer) can still be tasted. Perhaps go try other drinks from this stall.

Pearl ($0.60): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Store Service/Concept: ⭐⭐⭐
Outlet: ITE CC

Positive:

Final Verdict:

Consider it.

If you want something just to enjoy a refreshing drink, this is it. It's affordable with nice chewy pearls.

If you want standard, standard is 100% and a smoother tea. Go for Tea Tree Cafe instead, you pay more but you get a better quality drink.
