Welcome to I ❤️ TaiMei

About Us
“We hope to share with the world the Best of Taiwan, the Flavor of Love, through passion and good food.”
We were born for the ♥ of food, particularly Taiwanese food. The concept of Taimei were brought together by two Taiwanese sisters who are passionate foodies. After graduation, two sisters decided to start their own food and beverage company. Their approach is to put a contemporary twist to traditional Taiwanese street snacks and transformed it to fusion fast food concepts. With this shared love for food, sisters began their journey searching far and wide for the best Taiwanese food possible. Through extensive research, planning & training in Taiwan before initially launching in October 2009, Taimei opened its first location in Bugis. Our motto is to be an ambassador for Taiwanese cuisine and spread their passion and good food around the world. In 2013, we had opened our first overseas franchised outlet in Jakarta and also expanded to China in 2014.

REVIEW
Milk Tea
Price: $3.60
Sugar: 50%
Store concept/Service: ⭐️ (utterly the worst service you can get)
Drink: ⭐️⭐️
Pearl: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Outlet: Hillion Mall
Utterly the one of the worst milk tea you can ever buy from, that brings me on to 5 annoying things about this drink:
- Expensive
- Drink taste like water
- Service is crap
- 60¢ for a pathetic amount of pearls
- $3.00 for pathetic small cup containing milk tea that doesn’t taste like milk tea
However, it’s not all negative though, here’s 1:
- Plastic bag given is better than many others
So, what’s my final verdict? Should you:
- Avoid it?
- Consider it?
- Shortlist it?
- Buy it?
I reckon you should avoid it. It’s a drink you will never want to come across. $3.60, definitely would pay lesser for iTea, really. I just can’t justify paying this much for a not any better drink and service.

Honey Lemon Four Seasons

Northern Lights
Price: $5.90
Size: Large
Drink: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mango Popz: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Outlet: JCube
Positive:
+ Aesthetic (Gradient)
+ The fizzy from 7-Up brings a different feel to it
+ Refreshing
Negative:
- Large cup whether you like it or not
- Hoping that the mango bit is bigger so you can actually bite it
Final Verdict:
Buy it. The gradient is aesthetic and the drink is just unique and worth your money.

Passionfruit Green Tea
Price: $5.90
Size: Large
Sugar: 50%
Ice: Less
Drink ($4.70): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Black Pearls ($1.20): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Concept: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Outlet: Northpoint City
Positive:
+ Passionfruit seeds included
+ Pearls today are generous and chewy
+ Refreshing
Negative:
- Pearls are costly for this portion still
- (Not about the drink) I ordered GrabFood online via self pickup and the dessert bowl was packaged together with the drink causing the bowl to overturn when I take the cup out, I just expected better from them for packaging. Hence, 1 star down for Service.
Final Verdict:
Buy it. It's great today, I've nothing to complain about. To be fair, I used to work for I Love TaiMei and the drinks are syrup, but this syrup doesn't numb your throat like iTea which makes it better than it and slightly above Chun Yang Tea.

Honey Green Tea
Price: $5.90
Size: Large
Ice: Less
Drink ($4.70): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Black Pearls ($1.20): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Concept: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Outlet: Northpoint City
Positive:
+ Pearls are generous and chewy
+ Refreshing and smooth
Negative:
- The honey is not strong enough
- Pearls are still expensive based on this portion compared to KOI
Final Verdict:
Buy it. It's smooth and refreshing. But relatively expensive, there are cheaper options out there. Still, it's good and definitely must try. Don't mind the image, it looks exactly the same tone in real life.
